The structural design of two-color plastic parts is different from the structural design of ordinary single-material plastic parts. It has more stringent requirements in terms of overall structure and detailed feature settings, so its mold structure design has become more complicated.
Mold base: The mold cavity locking mechanism is used for the sequence control of the opening and closing of the mold base. The cavity locking mechanism is a commonly used plunger locking mechanism; the fixed template pull rod and stripper plate pull rod are used for fixed template and stripping respectively the fixed distance of the board.
Slider: In the mechanism, the wedge block is fastened and installed in the cavity groove of the fixed template with screws. The slider is installed on the wedge block through the guide rail and can slide along the guide rail; when the fixed mold and the movable mold are opened, they move The template pull hook pulls the slider pull hook at the bottom of the slider, thereby pulling the slider to slide out diagonally, and the slider is demolded.
Core-pulling mechanism: the bent pin is installed on the panel, and the slider is installed on the top of the slider through the guide rail at the bottom of the outer edge. It is driven by a small spring. When the mold is opened, the bent pin drives the slider diagonally the movement ensures that the slider can smoothly implement side core pulling. In the mechanism, the inclined sliding block is installed on the wedge block through the guide rail, and its downward distance is limited by the limit block at the lower end of the wedge block to prevent it from slipping out of the wedge block.
The mechanism makes reasonable use of the opening and closing of the mold template for driving, which can effectively reduce the manufacturing cost of the mold.
