Mold structure: The function of the gating system is to allow high-temperature melt to enter the mold cavity at high speed under high pressure to achieve cavity filling. The solidification time of the plastic raw materials, the aperture of the gate, and the selection of the diameter of the runner connecting with the gate are all factors that affect the mold.
For mold temperature control system design, for thin-walled, long-flow plastic parts, (Injection Molded Plastic Parts), the recommended mold temperature is 80-90℃. Increasing the mold temperature can stabilize the size and improve the appearance quality, but affects the molding shrinkage rate. Therefore, the mold temperature must be uniform, and the cooling of the mold must be strengthened to ensure a balanced cooling.
